10. Properly Type at 60 wpm

I crossed the first item off my Life List recently! I printed out the proof. If you look at what's circled, you'll see I actually typed at 74 words per minute, with zero errors. Feels pretty good. If you scroll down and look at the rest of my list, some things are in italics. Those are things I'm actively working on, like being married for 25 years (10 months down :) ), and reading the Bible cover to cover. And I happen to be making some progress...

Okay, so it's just a little tiny bit of progress, but I made it out of Genesis alive! Sure there's the whole Old and New Testament to go still, but I'm trying to focus on how much I've done, not how far I have to go. I figured out with the number of chapters in the entire Bible, that if I read a chapter every day, I would be done in about three and a half years. While I'm trying to read more then that on average, it will still take a while. But hey, progress is progress!

  1. Good job! Good luck with the Bible; it's Numbers you have to watch out for...and the begat chapters that are the worst. I always try to keep in mind that they're there for a reason, but I usually just end up being impatient ;)

  2. I'm proud of you! I usually like to read the good parts and skip most of the chapters in Numbers (you'll know why). You will enjoy reading the Bible. Stories that were never taught in Sunday School. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Good luck!
